Dr. David Herman
Senior Pastor
Pastor David is a native of Creedmoor and has been serving at Pleasant Grove since September 2007. Pastor David began serving as Senior Pastor in February of 2019. He is a two-time graduate of Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary (SEBTS) where he received a bachelor's degree in Pastoral Ministry, a master's degree in Church Revitalization. and a Doctor of Ministry at SEBTS.
Pastor David and his wife Kelly have two sons, Nash and Judson, who bring great joy to their lives. In their free time, their family loves spending time with family and friends, playing golf, traveling to the beach, and being with the families of Pleasant Grove.

rEV. Joseph Hart
Student Pastor
Joseph grew up in Granville County where he attended South Granville High School and later received a bachelor’s degree in Christian Studies from the College at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. Joseph has a heart for helping young people come to Christ and equipping them to grow in the Lord. Joseph began serving at Pleasant Grove in April 2022.
In his free time, Joseph enjoys reading, coffee, exercising because he loves eating and being with family and friends.

Mrs. Allison Day
Administrative assistant
Allison is originally from Fredericksburg, VA, and is a graduate of Montreat College in Montreat, NC, where she majored in mathematics. She has been married to Chris since 1999, and they enjoy spending time outdoors in God's beautiful creation exploring state and national parks. Allison and Chris have 2 adult children, Emma and Jacob. Allison has been serving at Pleasant Grove since May 2017.
